Alexandros Tzaveas speaks at the 1st Panhellenic Congress of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Football

The 1st Panhellenic Congress of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Football, with international participation, is being held from 22 to 24 April 2016 at Litochoro, Pieria. The subject of the congress is the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the sports injuries sustained by footballers. It is the first time that a congress has been held bringing together two distinct medical specialties, Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
As part of the congress, Alexandros Tzaveas will give a lecture on the theme “The role of the hip joint in athletic pubalgia”. This lecture will examine all the parameters of hip joint function, of biomechanics and also of pathophysiology that may cause or influence the clinical entity of athletic pubalgia, a condition that frequently occurs in footballers.
The lecture will take place at 11.50 on Saturday 23 April 2016, at the Olympian bay hotel in Litochoro, Pieria.
