Dr Tzaveas uses two robotic systems: MAKO for hip arthroplasty and ROSA for knee arthroplasty. Robotic surgery offers 0.1mm accuracy in implant positioning, personalised 3D surgical planning, less postoperative pain, faster recovery and better long-term results.

Dr Alexandros Tzaveas is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip arthroscopy and robotic surgery, and is regarded as a pioneer of hip arthroscopy in Greece. He trained at the Wellington Hospital in London under the guidance of the internationally renowned surgeon Richard Villar. With experience gained through involvement in more than 1,500 orthopaedic procedures, he is one of the most experienced surgeons in Greece. His approach combines technical expertise with a personal, human touch.
