The Orthopaedic Surgeon Alexandros Tzaveas took part in the international training programme EEMEA Revision Hip Course, organised by Stryker on 11-12 June 2026 at the InSITE Center in Istanbul.
This specialist training programme focused on modern techniques of revision total hip arthroplasty (Revision Total Hip Arthroplasty), covering subjects such as the management of bone defects, periprosthetic fractures, infection around implants, implant removal techniques, and postoperative rehabilitation.
Particular emphasis was given to practical training on cadaveric specimens (cadaveric lab session), during which the participants had the opportunity to practise advanced surgical techniques for revision hip surgery under the guidance of internationally recognised instructors.
Continuing education and participation in high-level international training programmes are a key priority for Alexandros Tzaveas, with the aim of providing his patients with modern, evidence-based treatment options.
