Lecture by Alexandros Tzaveas on ‘Clinical Assessment of the Hip in the Young Athlete’ at the 6th Congress of the Hellenic Arthroscopy Society for Knee Surgery and Sports Injuries, Patras, 22-25 April 2015

The 6th Congress of the Hellenic Arthroscopy Society for Knee Surgery and Sports Injuries will take place in Patras on 22-25 April 2015. This congress is the culmination of the activities of the Hellenic Arthroscopy Society; arthroscopic surgeons from all over Greece take part in it, together with many speakers from abroad. It is held every two years and always attracts the interest of many specialists from Greece and abroad with expertise in sports injuries and arthroscopic treatment.
Alexandros Tzaveas is taking part as an invited speaker in a round table, with a lecture on the clinical assessment of the hips in young athletes, while at the same time his team will present a number of papers on interesting cases of patients treated with hip arthroscopy. Cases will be presented of patients with synovial osteochondromatosis, tears of the labrum, a paralabral cyst and hip dislocation, as well as a particularly interesting case of a foreign body (a war wound from a bullet) in the hip.
